Roxio Toast 9 and TiVo

Posted about 1 year ago Has anyone tried the new version of Toast? I previously used Toast 8 with my TiVo 2 Go and loved being able to download my recorded shows to my computer or iPod for watching out of the house. However, it seems that after some upgrades (of Toast or TiVo or Mac) nothing works-- even the shows I have downloaded won't play. It says I need the third party software (Toast) which I have installed and reinstalled repeatedly. I'm willing to bite the bullet and buy the latest edition of Toast if it works, but don't want to waste my money... Does anyone have experience with this product: Toast 9? |

| Posted about 1 year ago I've never used it, but it says it can do Tivo, if it doesn't return it. If you have a problem with it and the store says you can't return it call their support line. http://partner.roxio.com/enu/oem/tivotoast/default.html

| Posted about 1 year ago I've been using Toast 9 since it came out and must say that i love it. But with everything else in life it comes with problems. The thing that bugs me the most is that evry now-and-then it cancels my burning. For the most part it works wonderfully, and when I get the (toast quite unexpectedlly) warning It kind of works better if I just restart my computer. Don't ask me why. I'm not an expert on it. all i can is that I burn ALOT of movies, with enphasis on ALOt and it has done a very good job with the exceptions. Be
