Posted 23 days ago Has anyone ever seen a major CPU resource usage tied up using AVG? I have noticed it since I downloaded the free version a couple of months ago. My scheduled scans don't happen until I am sleeping so the scanning can't be a problem. |

| Posted 22 days ago i've used AVG since version 2. have never had any problems with it. it takes along time to scan my pc, almost 2 hours, but i have found this is true with other virus programs also. |

| Posted 22 days ago Hey, I found my issue was because of a program that was running in the background. I scheduled it to run to analyize data in the wee early morning hours but it was doing it during my normal operational time. I suspended the program and all is good now. I was not AVG at all. |
