Posted about 1 month ago Are you now, or have you ever worked for a company that reimbursed you for your educational training, providing of course it was work related? I have worked for a couple, one small and a major corporation. The smaller company said they would reimburse me after completing Cisco Networking and A+, but backed out after I successfully completed them. The larger corp held to their word for reimbursement for my co-workers, but I never took any courses due to scheduling issues and the company's unwillingness to work with me on this. Also, did they offer to reimburse for certificates obtained? Outside of the larger firm I worked for, I am finding it difficult to find companies that offer this anymore as an incentative for their employees to progress technically. |

| Posted about 1 month ago I worked for Marshall's a long time ago as a salesclerk and they actually contributed money for school. I think a lot of places don't do it any more because it was an easy benefit to get rid of to cut costs. I haven't run into any companies in awhile that still do it. |

| Posted about 1 month ago The company I work for had a pretty good tuition reimbursement program when I started 3 years ago. Unfortunately, that program was cut earlier this year to cut costs. That benefit, like many others, was a victim of the recession. And what's even more unfortunate, is the fact that those benefits probably won't return even if economy turns around, and business improves. |

| Posted about 1 month ago My companny still offers a tuition reimbursement program. I took advantage of it to get my Bachelor's degree. They paid 100% of my tuition for the entire degree program. |
