How can I become a successful data diver? What are the skillsets I need to achieve?


Let me try to give more words here:- By data diver i mean a person who can dig data from different types of DBs and scrub them or condition/arrange them in a proper format???


I am not able to think ahead of SQL queries, MS Access or Excel files.


Also, please suggest some direction on data scrubbing. Are there some tools used for it?? or any popular techniques on how to do it??
