Change is coming, but it doesn’t have to be scary.

As you’ve read, we are fully integrating InsideTech with Monster.com on 9/19.

What changes can you expect? Check out the FAQ below, and feel free to ask anything you don’t see on the list. We want to make this as easy for you as possible, because this is really an exciting change that will open up whole new worlds of career resources for you.

What will the new site look like?

A: Not that different, actually. Check it out at http://insidetech.monster.com/content/monstermigration.

Will the website address change?

A: Yes, insidetech.com will become insidetech.monster.com, but you don’t have to worry about getting lost when the change happens: accessing insidetech.com will take you to insidetech.monster.com. Changing your browser bookmark for InsideTech on 9/19 is a great idea, too.

Will I use the same username and password?

A: Yes and no. You may need to update your password to one that’s a little more secure if our new system thinks it’s a bit wishy-washy. Also, you will sign into our system using an email address instead of your insidetech username from now on. Your username will still identify you on the site, but the email address on file is what you will use to actually sign-in. In any event, our website will help you through the first log-in process on 9/19.

Help! I save my password in my browser and don’t remember what it is . . .

A; No problem. Change your password now to something you can remember or write down, and save yourself the hassle come 9/19. To make things even easier and more secure, make sure your new password is at least 8-20 characters long with at least one letter and one number /symbol other than the following: @ & - “ <.

What do I get out of this change?

A: Here are a few reasons why this will be a positive change:

- Your job searches will access hundreds of thousands of Monster.com job postings.

- You can easily access your job search info, resume, and account information for both Monster and InsideTech with one log-in and password.

- You can easily access InsideTech from your my.monster.com page.

How long are we going to be plagued by the popup asking us to link our monster account?

Why isn't there a no than you and then be done with it?

Also there seems to be a time-out when posting a comment that forces you to log back in when you click submit, sometimes causing a complete loss of all entered text. (Really Annoying)
