| Posted 5 months ago Thanks Bruha for the link I checked it out. Pretty nice! I am reading up on the phpbb and there is a lot to it. not really complicated just alot. It does seem that I can set it all up and run it from my laptop using xamp. Still curious if anyone has actually used, deployed, or has any other knowledge about the use of PHPbb or any others. Thanks <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

| Posted 3 months ago Just an update on PHPbb, I downloaded and installed it using xamp apache server and mysql and it works great. There are Hundreds of different settings within PHPbb but it seems to be pretty painless. The PHPbb site has install procedures that are fair, some parts arent clear, but not bad. Thanks ps here is the getting started guide link http://www.phpbb.com/support/documentation/3.0/quickstart/ <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
