Configuration request: no alerts from self

Posted 5 months ago I would like to request a way to disable or filter out alerts triggered by my own activities. I don't really need to get an email telling me that there was a reply to something, only to find out that it was the reply that I just left. To be honest, I haven't checked to see if this behavior only happens for topics that I have set to be watched. I would like to filter my own actions anyway, watched topic or not. Thanks!
