Okay, here's another chance to spout off.  What's the worst car you've ever owned?

'73 Triumph Spitfire - 35 raging horsepower.  It couldn't get out of it's own way.  And it kept burning clutches.  How can you burn a clutch with 35 bhp?

Haha! That must suck!!! Anywho, i've only owned one car.. Going to be giving it a tune up this afternoon! '92 Caprice, 235k miles, 5.7L v8... No such thing as a lack of horse power for this thing... It has had tons of small problems but it always starts!!! (Except for that time when the Starter went out... and that other time when the battery went out...) But other than that, even if it's 20 below, it starts up quick. Gotta love Throttle Body Injection! :)

1996 Ford Taurus station wagon, first the short block cracked, then a new head gasket blew, a costly car. I took it out back and shot it! Literally...

i would have to say it was the 88 Ford Ranger. OEM high lift kit. Anyways, the front cv joints rusted. This caused the front axle to snap when I turned one morning. When the front axle snapped, it sent a shock hard enough to screw the torque converter(i think). This broke something in the tranny, which in turn, locked up solid in about .00001 seconds. The locked tranny broke the crankshaft, which let a piston loose to smack into the inside of the head. Needless to say, the entire drive train in this truck was F***ED in a matter of about 1.5 seconds. At 55 mph. This was not a fun day for me.

1969 Rambler Ambassador four door, original tires and paint. My mom got it in 1987 and gave it to me to drive. It had belonged to one of my great aunts, who was the original owner. In the areas that started to fade or rust my great aunt used spray paint to cover it.

It went through a quart of oil every day. I didn't make a whole lot of money at the time so I had to get retred tires that you could buy in Albuquerque NM for a buck each. I would get a flat, change the tire, and then go buy a new one. Once I had the new-old tire I would take it to a friend of mines shop and they would mount it on my fifth wheel, LoL, can't really call it a spare, it was the same wheel as the rest and kind of made its rounds. I was also able to get used oil, I guess you would call it (sorry, dori brain fart). This place in Alb. took your old oil, cleaned it, and resold it. It worked great for me.

I drove that thing for over a year and then my mom decided my older sister needed it more than I did, ok I guess I owned it by proxy, LoL. In a week my sister blew the engine. She didn't put oil in it, go figure......

The forgetful fishy........I think??!!??

I would have to say a 76 Datsun B210 wagon. Couldn't hardly make it up a hill because of no hp, luckily it had a 4 speed. Replaced the cyl head twice and swapped the motor once. Finally just took it out to some 4 wheel drive trails and killed it.

98 Toyota Camry.  Replaced the engine prior to 50k miles.  It threw a tie rod on the way to the garage to get it checked out.  Luckily I had 100 miles left on the drive train warranty.  It would also randomly leave me stranded when the steeringwheel would lock.  Couldn't stand that car!

God, I love it when women talk about cars.  HiYella2, are you married?

Oh, wait!  I'm married.  Never mind.

Ouch.  And that's one more example of the problems with the American auto industry.
