OK, everyone must have a book they love that has not yet been filmed that they now think can be, thanks to CGI.

For myself it is Brian Lumley's Necroscope series or Clive Barker's Weaveworld.

Roger Zelazny's "Lord of Light"

I've heard persistent rumors for years that a movie was planned, but its never been announced.  Perhaps there is a problem with Zelazny's estate.

For those that don't know Zelazny or Lord of Light, think Lord of the Rings with the Indian pantheon of gods and some sci-fi for fun.

Larry Niven's "Ring World"

Again, there are rumors, but nothing seems to go to fruition.
