This is a hard question for me because I love so many movies I can't pick just one. But if I had to it would be Star Wars because it was one of the first. I was truly amazed at all the special effects incorporated into the movie, now that's entertainment!

It would obviously be LOTR. It's fantastic, and I have seen no movie which can beat the animation.

One particularly striking aspect was that of the animation of the movements of Gollum. Wow.

And, please, please, don't say Harry Potter. I can animate better.

Sleep has no compromise.

The Day After Tomorrow

They are CGI edited, not full CGI.

transformers was pretty cool, the speakers could not handle the transformation sound though.

Most recently, I would have to side with Transformers.  Nearer the begining, I would say STAR WARS.  Earlier than that, I would go with Harold & Maude....wasn't Ruth Gordon CGI'd?

I also like Iron Man and Beowulf ( the concept of was not very good in Beowulf but the graphics were nice).  How about the animation movies like Wall-e?

Yes, Hellboy was good!

I like science fantasy (sci-fi)  movies too, like 5th Element, Resident Evil 1-2-3, Blade1-2-3, Underworld 1, 2 and 3 ( well rise of lycans was not good enough that I expected).

As a Sci-Fi fan I really liked all of the Stargate series and movies.  Great action, great story, interesting science/fiction, and some top notch actors.

There were some pont of humor in both of the Hellboy movies, I believe that's what make it great.

All the Lord of the Rings movies. Having been a Tolkien fan for a lifetime, I was really looking forward to how good the CGI and special effects would be and I was in no way disappointed. Truly spectacular.

For me it has to be King Kong.  When CGI works you don't know it is there.

I think Beowulf had the best use of CGI.

Beowulf was awesome, especially when Angelina Jolie was walking away from the pool! I like lifelike with 3D rendering. I feel it takes a lot more talent to make the image lifelike. Something as simple as the character walking is extremely difficult to make it look natural. I hope to see more movies done in this fashion.
