WHITE GUILT IS DEAD
By Tom Adkins Look at my fellow conservatives! There they go, glumly shuffling along, depressed by the election aftermath. Not me. I’m virtually euphoric. Don’t get me wrong. I’m not thrilled with America ’s flirtation with neo socialism. But there’s a massive silver lining in those magical clouds that lofted Barak Obama to the Presidency. For today, without a shred of intellectually legitimate opposition, I can loudly proclaim to America : The Era of White Guilt is over. This seemingly impossible event occurred because the vast majority of white Americans didn’t give a fluff about skin color, and enthusiastically pulled the voting lever for a black man. Not just any black man. A very liberal black man who spent his early career race-hustling banks, praying in a racist church for 20 years, and actively worked with America-hating domestic terrorists. Wow! Some resume! Yet they made Barak Obama their leader. Therefore, as of Nov 4th, 2008, white guilt is dead. For over a century, the millstone of white guilt hung around our necks, retribution for slave-owning predecessors. In the 60s, American liberals began yanking that millstone while sticking a fork in the eye of black Americans, exacerbating the racial divide to extort a socialist solution. But if a black man can become President, exactly what significant barrier is left? The election of Barak Obama absolutely destroys the entire validation of liberal white guilt. The dragon is hereby slain. So today, I’m feeling a little “uppity,” if you will. From this day forward, my tolerance level for having my skin color hustled is now exactly ZERO. And it’s time to clean house. No more Reverend Wright’s "God Damn America,” Al Sharpton’s Church of Perpetual Victimization , or Jesse Jackson ’s rainbow racism. Cornell West? You’re a fraud. Go home. All those “black studies” programs that taught kids to hate whitey? You must now thank Whitey. And I want that on the final. Congressional Black Caucus? Irrelevant. Maxine Waters? Shut up. ACORN? Outlawed. Black Panthers? Go home and pet your kitty. Black separatists? Find another nation that offers better dreams. Go ahead. I’m waiting. Gangsta rappers? Start praising America . Begin with the Pledge of Allegiance. And please…no more ebonics. Speak English, and who knows where you might end up? Oh, yeah…pull up your pants. Your underwear is showing. You look so very stupid. To those Eurosnots who forged entire careers hating America ? I’m still waiting for the first black French President, black German President, black Italian President, Spain 's first black leader (Persian is black). And let me offer an equal opportunity whupping. I’ve always despised lazy white people. Now, I can talk smack about lazy black people. You’re poor because you quit school, did drugs, had three kids with three different fathers, and refuse to work. So when you plop your Colt 45-swilling, Oprah watchin’ butt on the couch and complain “Da Man is keepin’ me down,” allow me to inform you: Da Man is now black. You have no excuses. No more quotas. No more handouts. No more stealing my money because someone’s great-great-great-great grandparents suffered actual pain and misery at the hands of people I have no relation to, and personally revile. It’s time to toss that massive, obsolete race-hustle machine upon the heap of the other stupid 60s ideas. Drag it over there, by wife swapping, next to dope-smoking. Plenty of room right between free love and cop-killing. Careful…don’t trip on streaking. There ya go, don’t be gentle. Just dump it. Wash your hands. It’s filthy. In fact, Obama’s ascension created a gargantuan irony. How can you sell class envy and American unfairness when you and your black wife went to Ivy League schools, got high-paying jobs, became millionaires, bought a mansion, and got elected President? How unfair is that??? Now, Like a delicious O'Henry tale, Obama’s spread-the-wealth campaign rendered itself moot by it's own victory! America is officially a meritocracy. Obama’s election has validated American conservatism! So, listen carefully…Wham!!! That’s the sound of my foot kicking the door shut on the era of white guilt. The rites have been muttered, the carcass lowered, dirt shoveled, and tombstone erected. White guilt is dead and buried. However, despite my glee, there’s apparently one small, rabid bastion of American racism remaining. Black Americans voted 96% for Barak Obama. Hmmm. In a color-blind world, shouldn’t that be 50-50? Tonight, every black person should ask forgiveness for their apparent racism and prejudice towards white people. Maybe it’s time to start spreading the guilt around. |

| Posted about 1 year ago i really enjoyed your post - nmcclaran you know ... a funny 'fact' .... to top it all off ... BHO isn't a true descendent of 'slaves' of Africa ... but, rather, a decendent of Arab slave owners of Africa. The man is a deceiver from before the word - go! see below ** another, 'not only '... if you look at his Dreams of My Father book - that he also recited hiself... there are a lot of 'racist' comments ... anti white: http://it.youtube.com/watch?v=oYnle2q16Rk
** Note: i copied this in, because i don't have the original link ... "Jack Wheeler is a brilliant man who was the author of Reagan's strategy to break the back of the Soviet Union with the star wars race and expose their inner weakness. For years he wrote a weekly intelligence update that was extremely interesting and well structured and informative. He consults(ed) with several mega corporations on global trends and the future, etc. He is in semi-retirement now. He is a true patriot with a no-nonsense approach to everything. He is also a somewhat well-known mountain climber and adventurer. The O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently tailored empty suit. No resume, no accomplishments, no experience, no original ideas, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the world works, no balls, nothing but abstract, empty rhetoric devoid of real substance. Thus Obama has become the white liberals' Christ, offering absolution from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd. "

| Posted about 1 year ago Wow, I must have really been living in a hole. I never heard of White Guilt. Interesting though, am I supposed to feel guilty for something? I really do not understand the sentiment behind this post. It makes a clear statement, but not one that I can identify with. It seems to make a sepratist statement without trying to sound prejudice. There are other races and "colors" than just black and white. How come people cannot focus on the individual rathern than lumping identities into groups? and that goes both ways If anything these are the kinds of posts that tend to keep tensions and the ideas of "you are so much different than me and you look like him so you must be and so I will say you are like that because you have no thoughts or emotions like me or people like me you are like your people bla bla bla........" alive. We choose how we live with each other and I will not alow you to choose for me my identity and how I will perseave others we are all different no two people have the same fingerprint.

| Posted about 1 year ago I've seen racism directed in every direction white to black, black to white, black to hispanic, hispanic to oriental,...the list goes on and on. Personnally, I don't care what color of skin a person has or what religion he or she believes in, nor what country they came from. However, the problem I DO have is when that person tells me I ought to feel guilty about something because I'm white, or I cannot state my beliefs because they are different from thiers, or when they sit on their lazy rear end and collect a government check every month while complaining about the government itself. |

| Posted 9 months ago Bigotry is continued the longer we dwell on it. The concept of "white guilt" is as racist as using the "N" word, IIRC. It's equally offensive to lay blame as it is to worry incessantly about ancestry. Having been to Kenya as a child, I can tell you that those people are certainly black, and Kenya's location in Africa kinda nails that point home. Obama never said he was descended from slave stock (not that I've ever actually heard, except as quoted out of context from a speech way back when, and possibly not really in that speech to begin with). Neither is he an Arab. His father's ancestors were Muslim converts from Africa, and were therefore considered "Moors" and not "Arabs" at all. "Arabs" are Middle-Eastern, from Arabia (what is now Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and most of Iran). The Moors, on the other hand, were converts to Islam, and those who were non-converted Africans were called "qafir" (infidels). Barack H. Obama may have a middle name that implies this conversion on the part of his father's side of his ancestry, but he was raised by his mother. And anyone who brings up that school he attended, it was a secular school. It's like saying the Muslim students who attend public schools in the United States are converted to Christianity the moment they walk in the door (yes, it's that level of ridiculous). The fact is, there are so many rumors wrapped around Obama, it's difficult to discover what the truth is. But there were enough voters to get the man into office. If you didn't think he belonged, you should have voted McCain in, or made more compelling arguments with the truth. Lies become apparent the longer people study them. And the fact is, he's our President. That means he should be afforded the respect that his office entails, and that party lines should be diminished in order to determine what's really right (rather than sticking with the party for the sake of sticking with the party). The fact is, Obama's called for a diminishing of party lines, and now the Republicans are trying to reinforce those lines instead of actually trying to negotiate. If you don't like it, get out and vote. Stop allowing the 40% or so who actually do vote to determine what's right or wrong. And in the meantime, keep your racist, bigoted, and otherwise hateful speech outta my way. It's offensive. That being said, I *did* have the option of not reading the thread. ;-) |

| Posted 9 months ago Reasons I chose NOT to vote for Obama: 1. I still don't know what his views are, I can assume what his views are by the actions and words of those he chooses to associate himself with and I was not impressed with people who enjoy the freedoms of living in this country but instigate hatred and bigotry. ( As a soldier, I will defend their rights to free speech even if I don't agree with it.) 2. I did not, and still don't like his political views. I am a conservative person, notice I did NOT say republican. I do not believe that big government solves problems, nor spending even more money solves problems. I didn't care for all of what McCain had to offer either, but I voted for him because I believe he had more to offer this great nation. As for white guilt, or any other guilt because of racial prejudice, I say enough is enough. Its time time to stand on your own two feet, get a job if you are physically able, take care of your family/children, and take responsibility for your actions REGARDLESS of the color of your skin, what your religious preference, or what country you or your family origionaly came from. I have plenty of friends who know I don't care what color they are, nor where they are from and believe me they also know I do not feel guilty for what my ancestors may or may not have done either. I judge them based on their actions and they judge me based on mine.
