halo 3 is an amazing conclusion to the halo story. the visual and sound design are immersive, the game play is smooth, and the artificial intelligence is ... intelligent. halo 3 is a comprehensive improvement to the halo franchise.

Eh campaign was a good part of the game. Great Story line and decent graphics. But the online multiplayer was way to chaotic and slow paced. I switched from Gears of War to this for the Multiplayer and had to switch back. In my opinion it wasnt worth the hype.

as much as i would like to give halo 3 the five stars, i can't! i love this game, it's very addicting BUT for one reason only - ONLINE MULTIPLAYER! the campaign wasn't as appealing as it's made out to be.

Can we say Most Over-Rated game of all time?

I know many of you are going to disagree with me, seeing how Halo 3 has one of the hugest fan basses since....I dunno, Quake? In fact, I think that's the reason why it is so popular. Halo 3 is popular because it's popular. That is one great thing about it, is the game is Universal, generally speaking you can find any one of your friends that play it. Anyone but me that is.

I have played all three of the games. And I really enjoyed Halo, but two and three have been emencingly dissappointing.

So let's start with Storyline, though it has been well set up by the first one, this third one just seems marketed. It's like the whole game is an advertisement for the next. Come on Bungie, give us some sort of fulfilment in the game? I'm really dissappointed with the storyline, I just can't seem to get into it. With the first gameI was like...Yeah! Woah Sweet! OMG...Flood! This Rocks! Now I'm just sort of robotic as I move through the game and nothing really grabs my attention.

Gameplay seems far too "Bunny hop" to me. Though I don't mind using that strategy (and find it works really well) it seems kind of rediculous to see Pink and Purple Masterchiefs jumping around everywhere. As far as weaponry goes, there's been little improvement since the second one, though I do find it tasty to rip off a turrent every now and then.

Challenging? I don't think so. Though Legendary mode does put up its difficulties, once you get the hang of it you can "cheap" your way through.

General Crowd: I like to call them the Young Gangstas Of Society....These people make it a pain to play online if you don't know who you're playing with. Though generally I don't mind playing with a younger crowd, I do want some maturity.
This Game seems to also attract the most "haxorz" but the funny thing is, they are horrible at playing the game, so generally they still lose, and everyone else just points and laugh.

Though I don't like the game, that doesn't keep me from wearing my exclusive Halo 3 t-shirt, what can I say, it brings up a lot of conversation. And it's funny after I say.... "I don't care for the game." People go wild when anyone isn't enthralled by Halo.

This is my first ownership of the HALO series. Very impressed. Bungie took a while to get the multi-player right but they came thru in the end. Awesome game!

In my opinion this was the best one of them all so far, I guess we will have to see what Halo Recon looks like if they go through with it.

I bought this because me and my friends had loads of LAN battles with the previous 2 and this didn't dissappoint but it was more of the same though. Still though, more of Halo you can't go wrong. Story gets stupid trying to get all epic. Its great that the last level was modelled after the first one's ending.
