The quality is exceptional & it's ability is surpassed only by higher level Denon AVR units. It has automatic speaker setup via a microphone that tests multiple listening positions. The receiver picks up twice as many stations as my old AVR without distortion & is XM & HD radio ready. It automatically sets the audio type, Dolby, DTS, surrond etc. for inputs such as DVD's movies, CD music, IPOD's etc.
