Description:

Puppy Linux is yet another Linux distribution. What's different here is that Puppy is extraordinarily small, yet quite full featured. Puppy boots into a 64MB ramdisk, and that's it, the whole caboodle runs in RAM. Unlike live CD distributions that have to keep pulling stuff off the CD, Puppy in its entirety loads into RAM. This means that all applications start in the blink of an eye and respond to user input instantly. Puppy Linux has the ability to boot off a flash card or any USB memory device, CDROM, Zip disk or LS/120/240 Superdisk, floppy disks, internal hard drive. It can even use a multisession formatted CD-R/DVD-R to save everything back to the CD/DVD with no hard drive required at all!

The Puppy Linux is the only one of its kind.......its an operating system which doesnt need an installation nor a Hard Disk for its functioning......While the other linux distributions recommend 512 MB ram for its working......64MB is enough for Puppy......in case of a Hard drive crash....its the only way to get the work done.....It facilitates the maximum use of bandwidth provided by the Network connection as virus or any other program accessing the internet is impossible.....So maximum Security assured......It comes with a wide variety of packages including the blu ray burner having a total size of 88MB.....So its very useful in every aspects.....wat i mentioned here is only some of its advantages.....try to find more out of it....I'll say that its the best.....

My best guess is this OS is so small you can boot this out of a PXE server, which is awesome..
