Microsoft’s Expression Web is a combination of the simplicity of Front Page and the features of Visual Studio. I am new to web design and found the application to be easy to work with. With this app, I can create or modify pages in less time. There were two features that stuck out for me. The first is being about to change the view to look at the code and the page at the same time. By clicking on the object on the page the application highlights the code. This was a big help for a beginner like me. The second was the ability to preview the page in different browser types.
Features:
• Upgrade package for professional design tool to create modern, standards-based sites that deliver superior quality on the Web
• Seamlessly integrate Web design and development teams with Expression Web and Visual Studio's superior support for XML, ASP.NET and XHTML
• Built-in support for latest Web standards means your sites will be optimized for accessibility and cross-browser compatibility
• Advanced CSS rendering engine lets you make decision making on the fly
• Harnesses the power of ASP.NET 2.0 to transform your sites into dynamic, interactive Web applications- Flag as inappropriate

A New look for MS Frontpage and a lot of advanced features for microsoft platform. Advanced features are closly coupled with MS Visual studio. Nice interface. Not very easy for newbees. But I faced some coding errors when tried to host MS Expression developed site in a LINUX server, but I did the same with older version MS Frontpage 2003.
It is 4star and need more features to host in multipple platforms- Flag as inappropriate
