Who said Palm was near dead? This latest little gadget from Palm shows the vendor is "getting back in the saddle" according to one analyst quoted in a Newsfactor review: Sean Ryan, an analyst with industry research firm IDC, said that the Centro was "the most interesting thing" he's seen from Palm in a long time.

I have the Blue one, but the reason I like this phone is it doesn't require a data plan, it is also nicely sized, good battery life, the only downfall I've had is that the speaker on the back is going out from the ringtones.

I have the black one and it seems like a great phone so far. Size is good and has many features. Only downfall I see on it is the keypad being to small for a guy with large fingers. Battery life isn't as good either. A battery that would last me till 6pm without charging will now last me till 2pm.

great little phone - a bit tempermental with VISTA 64 bit machine and synching with Outlook 2007, I have to synch via bluetooth. I would like to not have to take the back off to get to the micro card which is quite cumbersome!
As I've been using a Palm for the past 10 years, and the Treo prior to this, I do enjoy the phone - when I'm up and running! Any thoughts on what my next smartphone should be?- Flag as inappropriate
