Released in 1983, the C64, also referred to as 'The Breadbin', hit the scene and helped to revolutionize the way folks interacted with personal computers in their homes. The thompson twins were on the charts at the time and E.T. was pioneering the power of product placement on the big screen. Coincidently, 1983 is also considered the year of the Video Game crash. Could the venerable C64 have played a part in the demise of industry giants at the time? We would like to think so. E.T. himself might have had a part in the crash as well.
