When I was working at a certain Network equipment provider, one of their customers engineers, at training in one of their labs, broke win2ks security on a computer on their company network in about 5 minutes, back when that was a big deal, without gaining a password.
He had come from the military and was a bit scary. It's worrisome that their are people like that out there, and he's had 10+ years to get better.

Excellent Article. As a Internet Security Specialist and reformed hacker I have to agree. And people do forget the most important thing...Hackers are great researchers and good at finding ways to get to you. Just my 2 cents on the article.
