About Me
Back during the Atari and Commodore rage, my mom bought me a TI99/4 and a programming book for Christmas. So while everyone was gaming it up (which at the time I was extremely jealous!), my fun consisted of typing in programming to watch a little rocket go up the screen. I've loved computers ever since. I took every computer class possible through middle and high school and never thought once that I could actually make a career out of it. When I went to college, I was clueless about what I wanted to do and actually ended up graduating with a BS in Leisure Services Managment. It's been 7 years since I graduated and I can't help but sit back and wonder why it didn't occur to me to turn a hobby that I love into a career. So now I'm in the process of making a career change. I'm currently working on getting some certifications including A+, N+, and MCSA. I completed a short-term contract job as a field installation tech to gain a little experience and then as a full-time Software Technical Support Representative. I have just relocated to Panama City Beach, Florida and am looking for something else to get myself into. If you know anything or know anyone in the area that I can talk to... please let me know!
