    So, I'm about to accept an offer to do Call Center Technical Support in support of the 2010 Census. It's a contract gig with a company called Teletech, down in Maridian, CO. The job runs through the end of June of next year with a really good possibility of permanence after that. It's not what I was hoping for but at least I'll be working again. The commute will be about 45 to 60 minutes each way and I'll be working 4 12 hour days each week (including one weekend day). I was really hoping for an offer from this other company I was interviewing with but they gave the job to somebody else. C'est la vie.

    On the upside, I'll be getting paid more than any job I've ever had (almost 10k more than my last job) so we'll finally be able to save some money). My first day is November 9th so I have a few more days of nothing to do ;-) My thanks to all of you for all the moral support and job search assistance you've given me. This has been a challenging couple of months.
