About Me
My name is John Long. I've been married to my beautiful wife and best friend Deanna for 20 years now. We have two teenage sons, who are almost grown up already. I live in the Inland Empire located in Southern California (about 50 miles west of Los Angeles). In 1986 I attended Computer Learning Center, in Anaheim, CA. This was a 6 month (9 to 5 Monday - Friday) crash course on Mainframe Operations and RPG2 programming. During these 23 years, I only worked in the IT Departments for just 3 companies. Marketing Data Systems, Wherehouse Entertainment Corporate, and Inter Valley Health Plan (17 years here(. For the last 10 years I've been a Database Anlalyst, Primaraly creating/modiiying reports (ad-hoc) using various tools (Access/Business Objects/SQL), as well as all secure transfers of data (CMS/Medical Groups/Network Providers,....). I'm now actively persuing a full time job, in the Health Care/Managed Care industry, wih a company that could utilize my extensive experiences,, and challenge me day to day.
