About Me
My learning started in high school with an A+ beginner's course, and very basic HTML and C++ classes.
Since then, I do research and learn on my own, because college hasn't been working out for me so far.
About 3 years ago, I built my own desktop for gaming and programming/college work. I just completely ripped down to the case for retrofitting. Pictures are up! I don't have any plans yet for the OS when I'm done with repairs. I want to learn Linux more completely, especially commands.
I built and networked several home computers so far, the majority for family. I'm basically "on-call" for any family troubleshooting and repair needs. I carry a back|track4 Beta flashdrive, with some other Windows utilities, for those emergencies :p
I'm building first a business website, then possibly a personal one for myself, so I'm digging back into HTML, and CSS by choice. Maybe PHP if I get that far. Gonna start up a blog, too, maybe. Also trying to get through an O'Reilly book on Python in any free time I have.
I have an Xbox v1.6 in a perpetual state of pieces/parts as I'm still debating whether or not to mod it into a HTPC. I want to do it just to say I can, but I know that the setup will be extremely limited by the first Xbox's slow P3 processor and tiny amount of RAM.

    Well what we call "freezing" weather over here is in the low 50's. the only thing to fear over hear is earthquakes which rarely happen. The summers are hot, but then the clothes are less too. UCLA sounds like a good choice, I know a few people attending, even though I am a UCR alumni.
