Zac Frank | Inside Tech

We saw the market crash, the economy go down, and unemployment rates hit record highs during the past two years. The good news is that the recession is coming to an end.

How do we know this?

Because we’ve looked at some of the major economic success indicators that preceded previous recession periods and found they have finally surfaced in the last few months. Don’t believe us? Check out our 10 signs below.

1. The National Restaurant Association Predicts Record Profits for 2010

The health of the restaurant economy is one of the most important indicators of a rising economy. And once the National Restaurant Association noted they were gonna predict profits, we perked and knew something good was up. In their recently released 2010 forecast, the National Restaurant Association predicted that 2010 will see the best economic performance of the last three years, with a profit of $580 Billion and a 2.5% increase in sales over 2009.

While that’s good news for the restaurant industry professionals, there’s more good news across the entire economy.
