1. The National Restaurant Association Predicts Record Profits for 2010

The health of the restaurant economy is one of the most important indicators of a rising economy. And once the National Restaurant Association noted they were gonna predict profits, we perked and knew something good was up. In their recently released 2010 forecast, the National Restaurant Association predicted that 2010 will see the best economic performance of the last three years, with a profit of $580 Billion and a 2.5% increase in sales over 2009.
While that’s good news for the restaurant industry professionals, there’s more good news across the entire economy.
